Oakbay Chiropractic has been in practice since 1978 on Pill Hill in Oakland, California. Our mission at Oakbay Chiropractic is to provide excellent and innovative health care for the community.

First developed in 1895, today chiropractic is the largest drugless healing profession. Many everyday activities can cause these spinal bones to lose their normal position. This can result in nervous system dysfunction and ultimately ill health. The adjustment of the spinal column rehabilitates normal nervous system functioning and promotes the body's natural healing capability. Chiropractors influence the body's nervous system and natural defense mechanisms in order to alleviate pain and improve general health. Because of its effectiveness in treating back problems, headaches and other injuries and traumas, chiropractic has become the second largest primary health care field in the world.
